Service Dog Training & Placement
OneLeash Canine is dedicated to training and placing service dogs that provide meaningful support, confidence, and increased independence for individuals living with anxiety, PTSD, and mobility-related challenges.

Our process begins with getting to know each client as an individual. We take the time to understand lifestyle, daily routines, environments, and specific support needs. From there, we carefully select a dog with the temperament, stability, and potential required to succeed as a service dog.

A Thoughtful, Individualized Process
Every service dog placed through OneLeash Canine undergoes a comprehensive, customized training program designed to prepare them for real-life assistance. Training focuses on reliability, focus, and calm behavior across a variety of environments, ensuring each dog can confidently support their future handler.
Training may include:
-
Task-specific assistance based on individual needs
-
Public access skills and behavior
-
Calm, neutral responses in public environments
-
Strong handler focus and responsiveness
-
Emotional regulation and confidence
Once training is complete, the dog is carefully matched and placed with their handler, with guidance provided to support a smooth transition and long-term success.

More Than Training — A Partnership
Service dogs, also known as assistance dogs, play a vital role in improving quality of life. Beyond performing trained tasks, they become trusted partners who offer stability, reassurance, and companionship in daily life.
Our goal is not just placement, but the creation of a strong, lasting partnership between dog and handler.
